Vivian Kaufman has been a resident of both San Francisco and Marin County since 1978. She studied international business and marketing. Vivian began her career in real estate in 1998 with McGuire Real Estate in Mill Valley, where she specialized in luxury real estate serving high profile clients and celebrities. In 2001, she sold a home in Tiburon’s Round Hill Neighborhood to tennis player Andre Agassi and his wife Steffi Graf for $23 million. It still stands as one of the most expensive home sales in Marin County. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, she was with Sotheby’s for four years.

Kaufman took a brief leave of absence in 2006 to care for her ailing husband, allergist Dr. Herbert Kaufman. She’s now returning to actively buying and selling real estate for her clients.
Vivian Kaufman is a supporter of several charity organizations including, The Marin Foundation, Napa Land Trust and American Friends of the Hebrew University.
The owner of Silverado Summers Vineyard and a home in Napa where Vivian grows and produces both her own organic olive oil and dessert wine. She has one son, Charles Gedeon, who lives in San Francisco and two dogs; Dan the chocolate Labrador and Henry the Bolognese.
