Christina received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2006, where she was a Merit Scholar, a teaching assistant for the school's clinical legal program, and received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Writing and Research. She received her B.A. degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was a Regents Scholar.
